This past weekend I caught up with Copeland’s Aaron Marsh backstage at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, CA. Copeland has been on tour with Paramore for their Writing The Future Tour, and I caught Aaron just as the tour was wrapping up. We discuss their relationship with Paramore, Copeland’s history and future — and the albums he considers to be pivotal. I’ve always admired Aaron, so I was honored he took the time to sit with me. Listen below. Excuse my obvious excitement at the very beginning. You can pick up their latest album Ixora in stores now.
Copeland will be embarking on their first US headlining tour since the band’s reunion last year. The 9-date run kicks off in Jacksonville, FL on April 29th, and wraps up in Lawrence, KS on May 31st.
Aaron Marsh called into The Gunz Show and did his first interview in about 4 years or so and talked about Copeland’s return, what they’ve been up to, the album officially being done and released in November and much more.
Copeland have reunited, announcing the release of new album, ‘Ixora’, and streaming a new song, “Ordinary”.
Pre-orders will be available this Wednesday, March 20th through ShopRadioCast for the first vinyl pressing of Copeland’s 2006 record Eat, Sleep, Repeat.

Dennis was initially thought to be a temporary replacement while Copeland’s elbow healed from a mountain biking injury, but the group made the move permanent. Terms of the out-of-court agreement were not revealed. Doors keyboardist… Read more »
