After months of hedging, the Russian Space Agency has finally decided that Lance Bass has the right stuff. Fresh off the 50-date Civic Tour 2002, Incubus have finalized plans for a new tour. Launching August 31 in Reno, Nevada, the Morning View fall tour will make stops throughout the U.S. and once in Canada, concluding in November. Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger has started his own label and his first signing is Vancouver, Canada’s Theory of a Deadman. 604 Records is the new label founded by Chad and Jonathan Simkin. The debut release will be Theory of a Deadman’s self titled release on September 17. Theory of a Deadman recorded their debut at Vancouver’s Greenhouse Studios with Kroeger and Joey Moy (Nickelback, Default) co-producing. The first single “Nothing Could Come Between Us”, which goes to radio in late July. Linkin Park’s Reanimation is one step closer to coming to life. The album, consisting mainly of new versions of tracks from the group’smultiplatinum 2000 debut, Hybrid Theory, has gone through the mastering stage, and a final track list has been settled upon, according to the band’s manager. The 20-track LP is due July 30. Linkin Park are the prototypical rap-rock hybrid (in fact, the group’s original name was Hybrid Theory), and Reanimation doesn’t do anything to change their stance on crossbreeding genres.
