Blink 182 kicked off its tour on Wednesday (July 4) in Moline, Illinois at Mark Of The Quad Cities, and the band literally proved to naysayers that it gives a flaming flying fuck. As fans awaited the band, the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey played. As the curtain opened, fans were greeted by a giant “FUCK” sign engulfed in flames, circa Kiss 1977. Dido, whose RIAA triple-platinum debut album NO ANGEL has just logged its 55th week on the Billboard 200 Album chart, where it remains the longest-running title inside the top 30, has embarked on her 2nd annual headlining summer tour of North America. The festival-type tour of predominately outdoor venues stars Dido, Scottish group Travis, and Icelandic songbird Emiliana Torrini on the main stage, with various others on the second stage.
