Alt-rock newcomer JULES IS DEAD has unleashed their cut-throat new single “Red Is My Favorite Color.” The venomous track marks the 17-year-old’s label debut through Atlantic Records in partnership with TAG Music, the new record label founded by musician/entrepreneur Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship and Midtown fame. This week I have childhood friend Jake Margolis, he and I went to middle school and part of high school together in Utah and he too became a career drummer, at the age of 16 he joined band Madcap and went on the 2000 Warped Tour, and from there he’s played drums for such bands as: Tokyo Rose, Let Go, Time Again, Everclear, and much more, he’s now in punk band from Seattle The Drowns and we talk about what it was like growing up together in Utah and where life took Jake.
Modern UK death metal band, Ingested have shared a new music video for their single “With Broken Wings” today. The song comes from their most recent full-length album Ashes Lie Still, which released in November of 2022 via Metal Blade Records.
