This week I have singer/songwriter Rev from the band The Drowns, he stared the punk band with my old middle school friend and drummer Jake Margolis (Madcap/Everclear) and they’ve been hitting it hard ever since. I learn Rev’s story about how he came up in music and where his band is heading, and we exchange old road stories, as well as talk about their new album that just came out.

Electro-rockers The Anix and Julien-K are back with their new single, “CRAWL.” The collaboration brings back dark wave and electronica ‘90s energy missing in the music scene. The music video is a vintage glitch-mob fever dream, inspiring your best techno-goth dance moves. Even with powerhouse frontman Chester Bennington gone, it hasn’t stopped Linkin Park from releasing previously recorded tracks. “Friendly Fire” was originally a part of the acts “One More Light” sessions. This week I have long time friend and fellow guitar player/drummer Brandon Davis from bands such as: Inspirit, The Fever 333, he’s also been in bands Vanna, Lions Lions, Therefore I Am. He’s no stranger to the Boston Hardcore music scene and I get to learn all about Brandon and his endeavors, we also talk about a skatepark that he owns, as well as how we met. We also touch up on the subject of me playing drums for Vanna in a middle of a tour when he had to leave.
