The Menzingers are back with a new chapter and a new song for all those who aren’t quite sure where they fit in this world.
Continents are kicking off a new chapter in their revitalized story with an emotionally pummelling and effortlessly vital new track.
For Americans across the nation, this July 4th might not feel like one worth celebrating. June 30, mere days ago, the Supreme Court of the United States made three major rulings, which, in short, overturned affirmative action, halted President Joe Biden’s plans to cancel student debt, and legalized discrimination against LGBTQIA+ individuals. Additionally, last year at this time, SCOTUS overturned Roe v. Wade, setting abortion rights back by decades. Refer back, even further, to 2020 to see the federal government’s botched response to the COVID-19 pandemic, unchecked police power used against marginalized communities, and more. So, truly, it is well… Read more »
The Used are getting back on the bus for a full US tour this fall! And they’re taking Sleeping With Sirens and Dead American with them.
Here we go again! Today marks our third feature for Pride month, and we have another wonderful group of brand-new artists to highlight. This feature and this entire month belong to our friends who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, transgender, non-binary, intersex, or anywhere in between on the spectrum. I’ve played in bands, toured the country, released albums and obsessed over all things music for… Read more »
“I won’t settle down, won’t settle down.” These are lyrics that I’ve held close to my heart since discovering The Rocket Summer in early 2022. I’m late to the party, I know, but better late than never. Listening to his song “200,000,” about a million times last year, it ended up reaching the top of my Apple Music Year In Review and remains a staple on my everyday playlist. There’s something about the intimate lyrics and staccato piano hits that make me feel like I’m in a coming-of-age movie. That is why I was so excited to see The Rocket… Read more »
Sunami have surprise-released their long-awaited debut album, and it’s a near-perfect example of hard-hitting and beautifully heavy hardcore.
Emo-rock band First And Forever has dropped their third EP, If We Go Down, today. The 5-track release strikes the perfect balance of modernity and nostalgia with its sweeping guitar leads and intimate lyrics. As the band’s first independent release since 2019, it is a special one to the First And Forever boys. This emotion shines through the EP from beginning to end. They began their release campaign by dropping “Eulogy,” the third track on the EP. Accompanied by a high-energy music video, the track introduces fans to a new and mature sound that the band has sunk its teeth… Read more »
Perhaps one of the most underrated bands of the last decade, Fireworks hit their stride in the early 2010’s with two iconic albums, Gospel in 2011 and Oh, Common Life in 2014. Just when we thought they were in their prime, they sadly disappeared. However, in 2019 they returned after an eight year hiatus with their single “Demitasse“. The song came with fascinating teasers, including a personal beliefs survey. Fans were super stoked that we may be getting an album or EP in the following months, but then we all know what happened in 2020. Another few years went by… Read more »
