Everyone has a story to tell. And film director and producer Chelsea Christer is one hellova kickass storyteller who paints narratives through her lens. Her latest project is the feature length documentary Bleeding Audio, about pop punk band The Matches. Geek Girl Riot’s Cindy Tenicela sat down with Chelsea for an interview that’s basically a documentary of a documentary (see what we did there?). Hear Chelsea tell the ultimate behind-the-scenes stories about The Matches, detail her time in the industry so far, as well as talking the ins and outs of filming and directing—and independently funding—this upcoming rock ‘n’ roll documentary. And of course, talk about all her favorite geeky things that have influenced her work along the way.
