Motion City Soundtrack have become a household name over the years, and being as seasoned and talented as they are, their live performances certainty do not disappoint. This past Thursday night, they played a special set to a crowd at the Music Hall of Williamsburg as part of the Converse Rubber Tracks Live series. Along for the ride were Philadelphia natives, Ma Jolie. Motion City Soundtrack performed a plethora of songs spanning across their entire discography, including classics like “The Future Freaks Me Out” and “L.G. FUAD” and more recent works like “History Lesson.” Regardless of which record they were performing songs from, the energy of the crowd was high, from screaming the lyrics to mosh pits to a flood of crowd surfers. It was a night that could not be missed – and if you did, you messed up. Photos and writeup by Audrey Lew
