Timbaland Launches Label


“I’m a great producer, so people need me more than I need them,” boasts Timbaland, who is building a roster for his new Beat Club label, an imprint of Interscope Records. The Norfolk, Virginia, producer behind bouncy hit albums by Missy Elliott, Aaliyah, Ginuwine, and his own Timbaland and Magoo says he’s looking for the next generation of stars. 311 To Headline North America In Late Summer/Early Fall


Funk/punk/rap-rockers 311 will follow their summer on the Warped Tour with an extensive headlining tour across North America. The group will kick off a two-month swing in support of its latest album, From Chaos, at the Street Scene in San Diego on September 8 and play more than three dozen shows through the end of October. The trek culminates in a Halloween performance at the Universal Amphitheater in the group’s home base of Los Angeles. Sevendust Hit The Road


Hot on the heels of wrapping up the recording of their third full-length album, Animosity, Sevendust will launch a twenty-two-date North American tour with Texas rockers Drowning Pool in tow. Fandango Begins Ticket Sales For Live, In-Theater Sugar Ray Concert Broadcast


Fandango began selling tickets today for the nation’s largest-ever live entertainment broadcast: a concert by recording groups Sugar Ray and Uncle Kracker, which will be telecast live from The Tabernacle in Atlanta, Ga., on Aug. 15. Tickets are available at www.fandango.com for 14 Cinemark Theatre locations nationwide. Tickets can be purchased at Fandango’s Web site for $15 each. Incubus To Tour In Fall


Incubus will release their fourth album, Morning View, on October 23rd.
