Jam Master Jay, a founding member of the pioneering rap trio Run DMC, was shot and killed at his recording studio near the New York neighborhood where he grew up, police said. Two men were buzzed into the second-floor studio shortly before shots were fired inside its lounge at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, police said. As of early Thursday, police had made no arrests. Several concert-goers suffered minor injuries Saturday night when a railing gave way at the Target Center during a performance by the rap artist Bow Wow. About 10 people were taken by ambulance for treatment, said Reid Katzung, director of operations. The most serious complaints appeared to be of lower leg pain and of back pain, he said. A 21-year-old Justin Timberlake fan hoping to catch a glimpse of the ‘NSYNC singer outside a Burbank, California, radio station Monday night was killed in an alleged hit-and-run. The woman, Burbank resident Anne White, was struck by a truck driven by Cameron Duty, 23, who purportedly had an argument with someone in the crowd before deliberately backing onto the sidewalk where dozens of fans were gathered. “[White] had apparently been on the sidewalk when the truck, traveling in reverse at a high rate of speed, struck her and pinned her under the vehicle,” Burbank Lt.
