Sony Corp. and Accenture Ltd. have entered into a joint venture intended to aid media companies in their attempts to bring programming to the digital world. According to Bloomberg News, Accenture, formerly Anderson Consulting, will work with Sony to create software, services, and equipment for broadcasters to manage, archive, and distribute digital content ranging from photos to digital music. The companies announced the partnership at the NAB Convention in Las Vegas, calling the joint venture Concadia Solutions LLC. Forty-five-show, 88-truck excursion expected to be largest pop tour ever. ‘NSYNC’s highly anticipated summer tour, PopOdyssey, is apparently such a spectacle, the group has been forced to delay opening night by six days to properly prepare. The outing is now scheduled to kick off May 18 at Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, according to promoters. Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera have extended their rivalry to the shelves of 7-11. Aguilera and Spears, who have been slugging it out on the pop charts, will now wage their battle in the Cola wars.
