Celebrating the 25th anniversary of AFI’s fourth studio album, Black Sails In The Sunset, which dropped on May 18, 1999, Craft Recordings has reissued the release on vinyl. The album will be available on July 19 and is available in four exclusive color variants, which can be pre-ordered here. According to several reports, including confirmation to Consequence and Pitchfork, the legendary record producer Steve Albini has passed away due to a heart attack. He was 61 years old. An iconic figure in the alternative music industry, serving as a musician, producer, audio engineer, and founder/owner of Electrical Audio recording studio in Chicago, IL, Albini was born on July 22, 1962, in Pasadena, CA. Celebrating its 16 year anniversary this month on April 29, Smartpunk Records is reissuing The Cab’s 2008 debut studio album, Whisper War.
