DMX To Release Tribute To His Grandmother As Next Single, Video


Rapper DMX is currently in Los Angeles shooting a video for the third single, “I Miss You,” from his platinum-plus fourth album, The Great Depression. The album is currently Number 30 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, while the most recent single, “Who We Be,” is currently Number 75 on the Hot 100 singles chart. The video for “I Miss You” will be directed by Chris Robinson and will feature R&B singer Faith Evans. Judge Decides Against Eminem's Mother In Defamation Suit


Eminem’s mother may be indecisive regarding her defamation lawsuits against her son, but a Michigan judge didn’t have that problem last week. In a June 20 letter, according to lawyers for both parties, Macomb County Circuit Judge Mark Switalski denied a motion for reconsideration of a $25,000 settlement Debbie Mathers-Nelson accepted last month in the pair of lawsuits she filed in September 1999. She sought more than $10 million in punitive damages from her estranged son. Mathers-Nelson said in February she planned to drop the lawsuits, then accepted the settlement in May. Meet Me @ The Altar Announces Cavetown Tour Support Dates


Cavetown and Mother Mother are heading out on tour beginning June 7 in Phoenix at the Arizona Financial Theatre and concluding on July 13 at Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion. Originally, Destroy Boys was set to support, but had to pull out. Instead, Cavetown announced that Meet Me @ The Altar will join them this summer.
