Carey, Timberlake among Fashion Rocks performers


Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce and Rihanna will perform at the fifth annual Fashion Rocks concert celebrating the relationship between music and fashion. The event will be held Sept. 5 at Radio City Music Hall, and will air in a two-hour special on CBS the following night. Proceeds will benefit Stand Up to Cancer, a program established by the Entertainment Industry Foundation to raise money for cancer research. Justin Timberlake and Beyonce lead the pop parade of nominees for the MTV Video Music Awards with seven nods apiece, it was announced Tuesday. Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” was nominated for video of the year, as was Timberlake’s ambitiously cinematic “What Goes Around … Comes Around,” which co-starred Scarlett Johansson. 50 Cent and Justin Timberlake’s upcoming collaboration is about their love of pornography, it has been claimed. The pair of music stars have recorded a song for Fiddy’s new record, Curtis, which currently has the provisional title of “Ayo Technology.” However, the track is expected to be retitled “She Wants It” and is expected to be accompanied by a lewd video, due to be shot in London this weekend. Veteran band protests about Justin Veteran R&B group the O’Jays protested about Justin Timberlake’s involvement in their induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
