Over the past two years, the young singer has released her own tracks covering alternative staples. Magnolia Park IS goofy. After starting to tease their team-up with Disney for the A Whole New Sound pop-punk album earlier this week, Magnolia Park and the Mouse House have released their cover of “I2I” from the 1995 classic A Goofy Movie. Yet, the metal mercenaries say that covering Ryan Gosling’s “I’m Just Ken” solo from the Barbie movie, “Just made sense.” The Barbie movie soundtrack made waves last summer, and the quintessential standout track amongst it was “I’m Just Ken” performed by Gosling. On July 14, Creeper played a massive headline show at Portsmouth Guildhall with support from Zetra and The Nightmares. Disney has announced A Whole New Sound album featuring reimagined classic tracks. The emo cover of the century has just dropped. Anthony Green (Circa Survive, Saosin, The Sound of Animals Fighting, L.S. Dunes) covered Title Fight‘s “Numb, But I Still Feel It.” The track comes from Title Fight’s 2012 record Floral Green. In Green‘s cover, he softens the punk edges of the OG track with his iconic psychedelic rock sonics and glowing vocals.
