Green Day has announced the arrival of American Idiot 20th Anniversary Deluxe edition—which feels too perfectly timed with the forthcoming election. The deluxe release is scheduled to drop on October 25, 2024, a little more than 20 years after the original album was released on September 21, 2004. On July 14, Pop Punk Summer Camp. had its inaugural event in Flagstaff, Arizona. Headliners included Mayday Parade and The Maine, who played their new single “Touch.” It also featured performances from The Wonder Years, The Summer Set, Real Friends, Cassadee Pope, and Daisy Grenade.
