There’s good news for Billy Joel and Elton John fans who had tickets to the duo’s February 2 concert at the FleetCenter in Boston, which was canceled because Joel was ill. The concert has now been rescheduled, and tickets from February 2 will be honored on the new date, April 3. Alicia Keys, LaBelle, John On Tap For NBA All-Star Game


Patti LaBelle, Alicia Keys, Angie Stone, and Elton John will each perform during Sunday’s (February 10) NBA All-Star Game. The event takes place at Philadelphia’s First Union Center, and will be televised on NBC beginning at 5 p.m. ET. Sugar Ray Goes Back To School


California pop/rock outfit Sugar Ray is hitting a host of small U.S. college campuses on its spring tour, which will kick off with a Feb. 15-17 stand at Caesars Tahoe casino in Lake Tahoe, Nev. The jaunt comes in support of the group’s self-titled Lava/Atlantic album, which debuted at No. 6 on The Billboard 200 in June 2001. U2 had the Super Bowl halftime stage all to itself, and the Irish rockers delivered a moving tribute to America and the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Moog Synthesizer inventor Robert Moog and Apple Computer Inc. are getting technical Grammy Awards recognizing contributions of outstanding technical significance to the recording industry. Paul McCartney, No Doubt and Barenaked Ladies have been added to the Super Bowl pre-game show at the Louisiana Superdome on February 3. Rock Group Black Crowes on 'Hiatus'


The Black Crowes have flown the coop. The Atlanta-based rock band announced it has gone on “hiatus,” with lead singer Chris Robinson deciding to break out on his own and drummer Steve Gorman leaving the band. In a brief statement released Tuesday, the band said: “For the time being, Chris Robinson is pursuing a solo career.
