Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein was executed in Baghdad at 6:05 a.m. Saturday morning (December 30), 10:05 p.m. ET, less than a week after a death sentence against him was upheld for his role in the ordering the execution of 148 Shiite Muslims in 1982, CNN has confirmed. Saturday marks the second anniversary of the death of Jam Master Jay. As his family members have pressed on, they continue to keep their loved one’s name alive. FBI Probing The Murder Of The Notorious B.I.G.


The Federal Bureau of Investigation is investigating a six-year-old theory that a Los Angeles Police officer orchestrated the 1997 shooting death of the Notorious B.I.G. (Christopher Wallace) on orders from Death Row label head Suge Knight. The murder took place March 9, 1997, outside the Petersen Auto Museum in Los Angeles. Ex-Record Promoter Arrested in Murder


A former Nashville record promoter was arrested Wednesday in Las Vegas and charged in the 1989 shooting death of an industry magazine employee. Richard D’Antonio was charged with first-degree murder in the killing of Kevin Hughes, a record chart researcher for Cash Box magazine, in Nashville. Nashville Police Chief Emmett Turner said the shooting was related to Hughes’ and D’Antonio’s work in the music industry, but he declined to elaborate. Authorities did say D’Antonio and Hughes were once co-workers. LAPD Chief Interfered With Biggie Murder Probe, Suit Says


It’s been five years since the murder of Notorious B.I.G., one of Los Angeles’ most infamous unsolved crimes. Biggie’s family, however, doesn’t consider it such a mystery.
