Coheed and Cambria is offering a one-off single, “The Joke” with an intergalactic, The Joker-themed music video. Vocalist Claudio Sanchez says, “The meaning behind ‘The Joke’ is basically, if you need a punching bag, I’ll be that guy.” The music video takes place in The Amory Wars universe with the fan-favorite character “Al The Killer.” Check out the track, which comes from the Vaxis II LP sessions, below. Softcult return on this beautiful December morning to gift fans with a brand new song, “Heaven.” A classically shoegaze-drenched tune, the duo comprised of twins Mercedes and Phoenix Arn-Horn add exciting elements of grunge rock and alternative indie into parts of the effort. Canadian twin sibling duo Softcult is bringing their mall goth sonics to the States in early 2024 with support from Superbloom and Glixen.
