In 2015, Frank Zummo joined Sum 41. Since taking over on drums for the storied group, they’ve released two full-length albums and are gearing up to drop their final double album, Heaven :x: Hell, out March 29 via Rise Records. Green Day has always been a politically charged band. It comes as no surprise that entering an election year in 2024, the trio would have something to say regarding the upcoming climate our nation will soon face. On New Year’s Eve, Green Day performed their classic hit, “American Idiot” on the televised Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve special.
