Charlotte Sands just reimagined the iconic AFI track “Miss Murder.” The song will appear on the Sumerian Records’ American Psycho comic book series official soundtrack. The artist shares, “I am so grateful to get to be a part of such an incredible project alongside so many artists I love and so many songs that have been such an enormous part of my life.” Sands adds, “I grew up listening to ‘Miss Murder’ and I’m so humbled to have gotten to create my own version of it and imagine an entirely new world for it to exist in. Following the announcement of their exciting reunion as well as the 10 year anniversary performance of their full-length album Never Happy, Ever After at Slam Dunk Fest in 2025, As It Is has launched their forthcoming compilation album A Decade Uneventful: B-Sides & Rarities (2012 – 2022) with several unreleased tracks and demos. The compilation LP is slated to arrive on November 20. Following the release of summer’s “Sunshine,” which was co-written with MGK, MOD SUN is back with his new song, “Hotel Lights.” Prior to its release, MOD SUN took to Instagram to share, “Been trying to make a song like this my whole career. Sonically, it’s beautiful. Lyrically, it’s storytelling. Vocally, it’s powerful + delicate. Alexander O’Connor, better known as Rex Orange County, was Downtown LA’s man of the hour last night. In celebration of his latest album, The Alexander Technique, an intimate crowd gathered at Pico Union Project, where Rex performed about a dozen songs. Grinning ear to ear while four years of work finally came to fruition. On August 24, Linkin Park fans geared up for an announcement set to drop on August 28. Then, long-time listeners ultimately had to set their clocks back again to September 5.
