You won’t have NetRadio to click around anymore… not that it’s a surprise; the Minneapolis-based Internet radio pioneer announced Oct. 17 that it would halt operations and fire most of its employees. But this week, NetRadio notified the Securities and Exchange Commission that its shareholders had overwhelmingly voted to liquidate its assets and dissolve the corporation. The vote, recorded April 2, shows 1,172,314 shares voting to liquidate, with only 3,440 shares voting against the plan. Another 442 share votes abstained. Silverchair has completed work on their eagerly anticipated label debut. The album – titled “DIORAMA” – is currently slated to be released in North America on July 9th. Their first new album in three years, “DIORAMA” is unquestionably Silverchair’s most multi-dimensional work to date. Incubus’s two-week vacation from the stage is officially over-the group heads back out on the road to support its latest album, Morning View, with shows through March 23 in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand beginning today (February 25) in Osaka, Japan. The Los Angeles band will play five shows in Japan, including a two-night stand in Tokyo, another half-dozen Down Under, and two more in New Zealand.
