Online music service Liquid Audio Inc. on Monday will launch its entry into the growing online subscription music market, focusing on a niche largely ignored in the new generation of digital downloads: Christian music. Redwood City, California-based Liquid Audio’s service, “Burn It First,” is unique in that it will launch with only one type of music, Christian songs from EMI Group’s catalog, under a deal the two companies signed last year. Sure, Pink’s ability to get a party started is widely known, but now it turns out she also has the power to get people in shape. “Get Your Body Started,” an hour-long hip-hop dance/aerobics class based on Pink’s choreography, begins this month at all 400 North American Bally Total Fitness centers, running through July and maybe longer, depending on how it’s received. After being arrested for drug possession, disorderly conduct and for making terrorist threats on Wednesday, former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach issued a statement on Saturday asking people not to jump to conclusions without knowing his side of the story.
