Softcult return on this beautiful December morning to gift fans with a brand new song, “Heaven.” A classically shoegaze-drenched tune, the duo comprised of twins Mercedes and Phoenix Arn-Horn add exciting elements of grunge rock and alternative indie into parts of the effort. Carried by gloomy verses and restrained vocals, the instrumentation explodes into something more cacophonous in the chorus. Canadian twin sibling duo Softcult is bringing their mall goth sonics to the States in early 2024 with support from Superbloom and Glixen. Kicking off on February 8 in Boston at Rockwood Music Hall and concluding in Buffalo at Mohawk Place on February 23, this will be an expansive tour throughout much of the East Coast. For metal and heavy rock fans of the Midwest, today is a big announcement day. Sonic Temple Festival 2024 officially shared their lineup for their upcoming event. Taking place May 16-19, festival-goers can see a major fest at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus. Of course, the headliners are worth the travel and ticket price alone. The artist lineup for When We Were Young Fest 2024 just expanded to include the iconic Hey Monday, who will be playing Hold On Tight in full. Lead vocalist Cassadee Pope shared the news on November 15 via Instagram with the caption, “We’re coming home!
