Casey Unleashes Contemplative New Single, “Selah,” Ahead Of Album Release


As the release of their third album, How To Disappear, looms, Casey has unleashed the contemplative ballad “Selah.” The aptly titled record marks the group’s full-length return following the announcement of their 2018 disbandment and is set to debut on January 12 via Hassle Records. The group’s latest effort showcases a shift toward a quieter, more introspective tone compared to the album’s previous previews: “Puncture Wounds To Heaven,” “How To Disappear,” and “Bite Through My Tongue.” Rather than having their post-hardcore roots prominently on display, “Selah” flourishes with melancholic percussion, moody guitar melodies, and vocalist Tom Weaver’s reflective delivery. Hawthorne Heights Will Headline Emo Block Party


There’s one last party in the Sunshine State this year, and it’s going to be pretty emo. Emo Social, run by Dashboard Confessional drummer Chris Kamrada, announced a packed line-up to grace the Florida lands. The event goes down on December 16 at Wall Street Plaza in Orlando, FL, and boasts an emo legend act and trending pop-punk and alternative artists. Ohio emos Hawthorne Heights are scheduled to headline the show. Supporting acts include 408, Capstan, “emo trash” FELICITY, Greyson Zane, and Twin Rova. Today, iconic rock band Senses Fail has announced a lengthy North American tour and we are so stoked about it.
