Guns N’ Roses have been confirmed as the headline act for the My Coke Fest 2007, a music festival set to take place in South Africa. The reformed rockers will be playing Africa for the first time in their careers at two dates, starting April 27th at Johannesburg’s New Market Racecourse and Cape Town’s Kenilworth Racecourse on May 1. Former Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan has rejoined with guitarist Slash, drummer Matt Sorum, and guitarist Izzy Stradlin to form a band that’s basically back together except for singer Axl Rose. Police Use Web Site To ID Guns N' Roses Rioters


The fallout from Guns N’ Roses’ aborted winter tour continues. Police in Vancouver, British Columbia, have set up a Web site with photos of 47 fans they suspect were part of the riots that marred what was supposed to be opening night of the band’s first North American tour in more than nine years. “We believe all of these individuals participated in crimes ranging from causing a disturbance to taking part in a riot, criminal mischief, and breaking and entering,” said spokesperson Sarah Bloor of the Vancouver City Police Department, which posted the Web site on Wednesday. Latest Guns N' Roses No-Show Sparks Melee


Fans at a sold-out rock show became unruly after the group Guns N’ Roses failed to appear, and police were called to the concert arena, officials said. Witnesses at the First Union Center on Friday night reported angry fans yelling and cursing, some throwing bottles and chairs, and ripping up plants, but a spokesman for the arena operator denied the accounts. Guns N' Roses Announce First U.S. Tour In A Decade


W. Axl Rose will exhibit his appetite for reconstruction when Guns N’ Roses re-emerge for their first U.S. tour in nine years with many new band members and a batch of new material. Guns N' Roses Cancel European Tour – Again


Guns N’ Roses have again canceled their tour of Europe, but unlike other artists rethinking their overseas trips, Axl Rose doesn’t seem to be afraid of traveling – he’s afraid of not being able to work on the band’s never-ending new album. Earlier this year GN’R canceled a 14-city European jaunt scheduled for June, citing an unspecified stomach ailment suffered by guitarist Buckethead, and then rebooked the dates for December.
