The Nashville-based punk rock label, Pure Noise Records has announced the second installment of their Dead Formats compilation albums. Dead Formats Vol. 2 will see many bands from the Pure Noise Records roster covering classic songs across the punk and rock genres. The album will drop on September 15th and holds an impressive fifteen tracks in total. So far, three tracks have dropped. Flogging Molly has announced an extensive six week long tour this summer spanning from early August to late September. The tour will kick off in Denver, CO on August 17th and wrap up in Orlando, FL on September 30th. The band will be joined by The Bronx for the entirety of the tour with the exception of festival dates. Switchfoot’s new Columbia album “Oh! Gravity” is pulling the band onto the road for an extensive North American tour in February and March. Labelmate Copeland will open. The trek begins Feb. 14 at the House of Blues in Anaheim, Calif., and wraps March 31 in the quintet’s San Diego homebase. New York, NY – San Diego rockers Unwritten Law have parted ways with Rob Brewer, the band’s long-time guitarist. Hanson have lined up a nineteen-date U.S. tour behind their independently released new album Underneath. The trio of Hanson siblings – guitarist Isaac, 23; keyboardist Taylor, 20; and drummer Zac, 18 – kick things off on July 5th in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Two shows, July 14th and 16th, are set for Hanson’s adopted home base of New York City, and the tour is set to close on August 7th in their original hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
