After ages of speculation, ’80s metal fans’ holiday wishes have finally been confirmed: Motley Crue are indeed preparing to embark on a 2005 tour. The outing will be the original four’s first tour since 1999. The Motley Better Live Than Dead Tour will take the band throughout the United States and will also include a load of overseas dates, but for now, there are only two Canadian shows on the schedule. Back in 1999, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich confessed to feeling “a tremendous amount of hatred toward Limp Bizkit.” Now Metallica is hitting the road with Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park for the second Summer Sanitarium tour, which will hit at least 18 U.S. markets this year, beginning July 4. Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx says no one should line up for 2003 concert tickets just yet. Police in Beverly Hills have issued a warrant for the arrest of Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil, who allegedly attacked a record producer in a nightclub parking lot. The warrant, issued Wednesday, stems from an April 28 incident involving Michael Schuman, who accuses Neil of taunting him outside of a club and then punching him numerous times in the face, knocking him to the ground. Neil faces misdemeanor battery charges, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said. New York – Tommy Lee says he’s looking forward to going on tour with Motley Crue – so he can get some rest. The 42-year-old drummer, who recently reunited with his band mates for a world tour, says he’s been working on so many television and music projects that he needs a break. “There’s no Tommy time anymore.
