Linkin Park and Creed both increased their multiplatinum status with their latest releases, and No Doubt’s Rock Steady reached platinum in recent certifications by the Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA). Linkin Park Guests On X-ecutioners Track


Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda and DJ Joe Hahn have recorded a track with hip-hop turntablists X-ecutioners for the group’s Built From Scratch, which is set for a February 26 release. Linkin Park Piecing Together Projekt Revolution Tour For January


Linkin Park has signed Adema, Cypress Hill, and Z-Trip for its Projekt Revolution Tour. The package tour is set to begin in January and run through February, possibly going into March. Linkin Park's Bennington Suffering From Bite


Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington will seek treatment for a poisonous spider bite he received on August 8 at a hotel in the Boston area (Mansfield, Massachusetts) while on OzzFest tour. A portion of Bennington’s arm has swelled, and he was running a fever, but he did manage to complete the two remaining OzzFest shows at PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey over the weekend (August 11 and 12).
