Destiny's Child Remix Album Includes Bonus Track


Destiny’s Child is scheduled to release This Is The Remix March 12 on Columbia Records. The album comprises 13 songs, including various mixes of the group’s hit records, as well as a bonus track from Michelle Williams’s forthcoming gospel album. The album includes remixes from Wyclef (“No, No, No Part 2,” and “Bug A Boo”), the Neptunes (“Emotion”), Timbaland (“Say My Name”), and Jermaine Dupri (“Jumpin’, Jumpin’”), among others. “Heard A Word,” from Williams’s gospel debut, From My Heart To Yours, due out April 2, is also featured on the album. Universal to release copy-protected CD in U.S.


The world’s largest record company will be the first of the major labels to release a copy-protected CD in the United States, signaling a new chapter in the industry’s efforts to stem music piracy. When Universal Music Group on Tuesday releases the soundtrack, “Fast & Furious – More Music,” consumers won’t be able to copy the music onto another CD or use their PCs to “rip” tracks in digital MP3 format. Dr. Dre Teams Up With Mack 10 For New Single


Inglewood, California-native turned Cash Money Millionaire Mack 10 recently completed shooting the video for “Hate In Yo Eyes,” the first single from his forthcoming Cash Money Records debut, Bang Or Ball, due out December 4. Hitmaker Dr. Dre, who was a member of N.W.A. with Mack 10’s mentor Ice Cube, produced the new single. Gorillaz Bag Six Berths For MTV Euro Nods


Gorillaz, the cartoon indie-beat band formed by Damon Albarn of the rock band Blur, picked up six nominations, including best group, in the eighth annual MTV Europe Music Awards noms, announced here Tuesday.
