Gunz’s boy Tyler from Driver Friendly called in to talk about a little bit of everything. From pink eye to wrestling, the band’s trailor being stolen to their upcoming album – they cover it all.
John O’Callaghan from The Maine recently called in to The Gunz Show to talk about gearing up for another run of the Vans Warped tour. He also discussed the deluxe edition of Forever Halloween, and of course the ol’ debauchery that is his life.
Longtime friend of The Gunz Show, Jake Turner from Say Anything calls in to chat about the project he’s embarked on with his brother Jeff, a band titled XO. Turner also gives some info about the recording process for Say Anything’s upcoming full length.
Gunz’s longtime buddy Cassadee Pope called into The Gunz Show to chat about her debut solo album which rocked the country charts. Not only has she gone gold, she’s also gearing up for a tour with country music legend Tim McGraw. Gunz and Cassadee go way back; he’s been interviewing her since before her previous band, Hey Monday, even had an EP out. The result of a friendship this long? Great interviews for you to listen to.
Augustana is one of Gunz’s favorite alternative rock bands. Their unique sound has always impressed him, so naturally he was stoked when they announced not only their return but also a brand new album and headlining tour. Recently, he spoke with Daniel from Augustana on The Gunz Show about the DIY circuit, having a single make it to Top 40 radio and their comeback.
Gunz’s crazy friends in Echosmith stopped by The Gunz Show studios at Madison Square Garden and it was ballin’. This year marks Echosmith’s second consecutive Warped tour, and they’ll be showing off improved talents and growth within the band all while gaining a plethora of new fans. Gunz feels it’s his job to make this band hugely popular.
Gunz’s good friend Stephen from Anberlin – one of the hardest working, and hardest rocking bands in this “scene” – called into The Gunz Show recently. Throughout 2014 the admirable band will be continuing to inspire as they know how to by releasing what is arguably their best album yet and appearing on this year’s Warped tour, all before their farewell tour this fall.
Gunz had a rad time speaking with Mat Devine of Kill Hannah about his new project Wrongchilde. The talented vocalist tells Gunz about what went into the project, what his goal was with it, and how he recruited fellow artists such as Gerard Way and Sierra Kusterbeck to play on the album.
