*NSYNC singer Lance Bass recently underwent an outpatient “surgical procedure” to correct an irregular heartbeat, his publicist told Reuters on Thursday (May 16). The procedure was performed several weeks ago in order for the singer to be able to pass the intensive training required to become the world’s first pop singer to take a Russian Soyuz rocket to the International Space Station. Lit has unknowingly got some firefighters in New Jersey in hot water after the band visited their firehouse and performed for the firefighters earlier this month. Fire District officials in Woodbridge, New Jersey are investigating claims that Iselin Fire District 11 was the host of a party featuring Lit, who toured the firehouse, tried on helmets and coats, and then performed an all-request show for the firefighters.
