The Common Ground Music Festival in Lansing, Michigan, have just announced the first round of bands for this summer.
Midtown and Saosin fans rejoice as both bands will be reuniting at this year’s Skate and Surf Festival! The first lineup announcement includes a ton of other bands, including The Early November, Circa Survive, Pianos Become the Teeth, and more to be revealed closer to the date. Hit The Deck Festival has announced its next wave of bands. The UK festival is due to take place in Bristol and Nottingham from April 19th-20th.
Reading and Leeds Festival in the UK has revealed their epic 2014 lineup. Arctic Monkeys have been announced as the second headliner joining Blink 182. Suburbia Music Festival unveiled the lineup for its inaugural event at the Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve in Plano, Texas. The two-day festival will take place May 3rd and 4th, and will host acts from a wide variety of music genres including Tegan and Sara, Twenty One Pilots, Echosmith, The Rocketboys and Hoodie Allen among many others. The annual Hit The Deck Festival has announced the first batch of bands and artists set to play alongside Brand New at the UK concerts.
Shaky Knees festival takes place in Atlanta, Georgia, from May 9 – 11 and they’ve got a pretty solid lineup this year. Headliners will be The National and Modest Mouse (with one more still to be announced). The Gaslight Anthem, Portugal. the Man, Dropkick Murphys, Conor Oberst, Cold War Kids, Jason Isbell, and Trampled By Turtles are just a few of the other bands playing, making it one of the more varied lineups I’ve seen announced so far. Tickets will be available here on January 17th, starting at $150.
