While Weezer prepare to kick off the most recent leg of their tour in support of their third self-titled release, better known as “The Green Album,” the band is already looking ahead to its next record, which is tentatively set for a May 2002 release. The band has been recording demos in Los Angeles including songs so far titled, “Song From Yesterday,” “I Wanna Know,” “Diamond Rings” and “How Long?”
Meanwhile, their tour with temporary bassist Scott Shriner kicks off on September 11th in San Jose, California. Shriner was called in to replace Mikey Welsh after he had been admitted into a Boston area hospital.
