Following the release of October’s Wonderland EP, Vienna Vienna is back with his cover of David Bowie’s “John, I’m Only Dancing.” It perfectly intertwines the song’s original glam-rock elements with a bit of Vienna Vienna’s trademark “glimmer.”
“Look, I don’t do replicas, he would’ve hated that,” Vienna Vienna says. “I try to carry his virtuoso with me, while always staying true. If Bowie is Christ then I guess I’m born-again. What an honor.”
Check out the artist’s thrilling cover below.
Beginning on February 24, you can catch Vienna Vienna supporting K.Flay on the Mono: I’m Making Friends With The Silence Tour. It’s a can’t-miss electro/indie-rock event. Check out the route below and grab your tickets here.
