Underoath is taking to the road for a seven-week tour beginning next Thursday (Feb. 22) at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pa. As previously reported , the trek comes on the heels of drummer/vocalist Aaron Gillespie’s tour with his side project, the Almost.
The group will be sharing the stage with Taking Back Sunday through April 7 at the House Of Blues in Atlantic City, N.J. Underoath is supporting its most recent Tooth & Nail release, “Define the Great Line,” which was recently certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for U.S. shipments of 500,000 copies.
The band will also play some dates on this year’s Warped Tour, despite dropping off the 2006 lineup due to interpersonal conflicts. “Things are better than ever now. We’ve done three tours since then, so things are good,” Gillespie told Billboard.com in January.
The sextet is also scheduled to perform June 30 at the 2007 Cornerstone Festival, the annual Christian music event held in Bushnell, Ill.
