Justin Timberlake and Faith Hill have been added to the performance lineup for the 2002 Billboard Music Awards, joining previously announced performers Avril Lavigne, Creed, Nelly, and Puddle Of Mudd. The event will air Dec. 9 on Fox live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
LL Cool J, Keith Urban, B2K, Nivea, and actress Shannon Elizabeth will also make appearances, alongside Nick Carter, JC Chasez, Joe, Master P, and Lil’ Romeo.
Cher will receive the Artist Achievement award, which annually recognizes an artist who has helped redefine popular music with massive success on the Billboard charts. Annie Lenox will be presented with the Billboard Century Award.
The show’s hosts, additional performers, and finalists will be announced in the coming weeks.
