He’s been the subject of a handful of teen-targeted biographies, and now ‘N Sync’s Justin Timberlake will join girlfriend Britney Spears as a novelist. Timberlake has signed a deal with Ballantine Books to publish his first piece of fiction, Crossover Dribble, in what is reported to be a seven-figure deal.
Publishers are keeping the details of the book’s storyline under wraps, but it apparently centers on a professional basketball phenom (cheekily named Jason Windriver) trying to help his team win a championship.
A publishing date has not yet been set for the book, nor is there any word as to whether Timberlake will be writing it by himself. Spears’ novel, A Mother’s Gift, was co-written by her mother, Lynne, and was published this month.
