In true disco fashion, The Aces are keeping the fun going all year long with the forthcoming release of Gold Star Baby deluxe edition, due out in February 2026. Excitingly, the band released “Square One,” ahead of the LP drop and is giving the finger to exes who definitely deserve it.
Drummer Alisa Ramirez shared, “I was in a place emotionally when we were writing ‘Square One,’ where although a lot of time had passed since a heartbreak, the smallest thing could trigger all those feelings again. I felt really frustrated with the process of healing. I had to reckon with the fact that even though I so badly wanted to be moved on, I just wasn’t. You can’t snap your fingers and tell your heart to mend back together, it doesn’t work that way. So this song was finally me accepting that and sitting in those emotions.”

The Aces are currently on the North American leg of their Gold Star Baby tour with Lydia Night and will headline venues in the UK and Europe in 2026. Then, next summer, the band will support Louis Tomlinson on his tour. Check out their run below and grab tickets here.
