Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is getting super rock ‘n’ roll this year because The Pretty Reckless‘ Taylor Momsen is set to appear on the parade route. The artist, who is also beloved for her role as Cindy Lou Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), just released her own holiday record, Taylor Momsen’s Pretty Reckless Christmas. The new EP features a dazzling rock rendition of “Where Are You Christmas?” and we hope to hear it during her parade debut.
The parade begins at 8:30 AM and ends at noon in all time zones on NBC and Peacock, and will be replayed later in the day at 2 PM. Currently, the float she will appear on is not listed. Other performers include Foreigner, Mr. Fantasy, and more.
Momsen shares of her EP, “Taylor Momsen’s Pretty Reckless Christmas started as just one song, but the moment we got into the studio, it took on a life of its own. There was so much emotion, nostalgia, and chaos wrapped up in it that it didn’t feel right to leave it standing alone. To really honor it, I needed to build a whole world around it. That’s how this project became a full body of work. Something bigger, deeper, and far more personal than I ever expected.”
