Marika Hackman is already taking the UK by storm, and if her new EP Deaf Heat is any indication, she’ll be making waves in the United States before long as well. The EP was recorded with the Mercury Prize winning producer Charlie Andrews (who has worked with indie darlings Alt-J) and includes a cover of Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers”.
Deaf Heat drops on 14 April through Dirty Hit Records (who you may know from their work with The 1975), and you can pre-order it on iTunes now.
