Staind’s Aaron Lewis makes a guest appearance on Animosity, the new album from rockers Sevendust, due in stores November 13 from TVT Records. The chart-topping frontman can be heard on backing vocals on the song, “Follow.”
Other tracks on the Atlanta rockers’ third album include first single “Praise,” “Tits On A Boar,” “Shine,” “Crucified,” “Xmas Day,” and “Angel’s Son,” a reworking with strings of the group’s hit from last year’s Strait Up, a various-artist tribute to late Snot singer Lynn Strait.
Animosity is produced and mixed by Ben Grosse, whose recent credits include Fuel’s Something Like Human and Live’s V. The album is the group’s “strongest and most accessible work to date,” according to a spokesperson for the band.
The group counts Godsmack’s Sully Erna as a fan. The frontman said, “Once again Sevendust has delivered a record that everyone should be paying attention to.”
