South Arcade is back with a new music video for “DEADMEAT,” and you just might be able to hear it on the idobi Radio Summer School tour, which is running through the end of July.

The bright pop-tinged track is accompanied by a video game-animated music video with a totally cute modern love story with a perfectly Y2K aesthetic.

The band says, “We went into writing wanting to tell a sort of modern Romeo and Juliet story (but with a less depressing ending), and we left with ‘DEADMEAT.’ It has this reckless optimism about it where the two characters’ worlds shouldn’t really overlap, but they’ve found each other regardless — they want to escape all of that noise, steal a car, and leave town. It had this ‘us against the world’ energy that we loved.”
