senses has finally returned with their new single “patterns,” out via Hopeless Records. This offering is preceded by their 2025 EP onto something, as well as their cover of Simple Plan‘s “Perfect.”
The duo says of the track, “’Patterns’ is very much a song of self-awareness and discovery. It explores the process of understanding how your brain works, and knowing that it can often feel all over the place and hard to control. This feeling is really emphasized by the dramatic sonic changes throughout, taking you through the experience of feeling stuck in these pre-existing patterns, and how it feels to try to break free of them.”
They add, “We’ve struggled and felt overwhelmed with breaking this cycle many times in our own lives, and it’s definitely not easy to overcome. This song is that real-time awareness of the inner workings of your brain, and the process of overcoming these obstacles.”
