A gripping new series lands on Netflix September, 6. Sacha Baron Cohen stars in “The Spy” as Eli Cohen, a make living a double life with the goal of being of service to his country. On the outside, he’s a modest government clerk but as he goes undercover in Syria he is a completely different person. Set in the 1960s, Cohen’s wife Nadia (Hadar Ratzon Rotem) is aware something isn’t quite right about the husband’s government job as she raises their children in Israel while he is on a years-long mission for Mossad. Written and Directed by Gideon Raff, co-written for episodes 3 through 6 by Max Perry the series promises to be captivating.
