You make the waffles, we’ll make the tunes,
it’s time to Rise Rock n’ Shine…
Who: Cooper & Gatlin are the kind of brother-sister duo that makes you want to break out a guitar with your own sibling–only to remember you can’t play the guitar and you should probably leave it to the pros.
What: “Fragile” is a quiet, honest track that’s stealin’ our hearts.
Why: The world is loud + sometimes you need an excuse to slow down. “Fragile” gives you a peaceful moment alone–so go ahead, hit repeat a few times.

“’Fragile’ is a song about being honest and vulnerable with another person, and trusting them to love you in spite of your shortcomings. To a certain extent everyone has a fear of letting someone in, because that’s when they can hurt you the most but for the right person, it’s worth that risk.” – Cooper & Gatlin

Who: Snow Ghosts recorded their forthcoming album A Quiet Ritual (out 5/3) in an actual castle with the carnyx, a rare, ancient Celtic instrument. Believe it or not, they only get more interesting from there.
What: Snow Ghost’s latest single “Ribcage” kind of scares us, but we like it.
Why: Avant garde rock music never sounded as good as it does on “Ribcage”. The song sounds like a novel wrapped up in notes and tunes + we don’t think we’ll ever get tired of this story.

“A Quiet Ritual maps out stages of the grieving process and how every individual deals with it in their own unique way. Most importantly how they handle their own heart and the other fragile hearts inevitably scattered around them.” – Snow Ghosts
