The wait is officially over. Sydney, Australia rockers RedHook have dropped their highly-anticipated second album Mutation. It features punchy tracks such as “Dr. Frankenstein” with Holding Absence, heavy diss track “Bomb.com,” and “HEXXX” featuring Vana.
In fact, the new collab “HEXXX” showcases rage-fueled femme power inspired by the iconic Ashnikko and Rico Nasty. Plus, just in time for the drop of Wicked in theaters, the song’s visuals and lyrics nod to entertainment’s biggest witches, such as those in The Craft and The Wizard Of Oz.

RedHook vocalist Emmy Mack says of the record, “‘Mutation’ felt like the perfect name for this record because we wanted it to feel like an evolution in every single way, not just in RedHook’s sound, but also in the culture around us.”
She adds, “We’re here to shift narratives, offer new perspectives, and dismantle old ways of thinking. RedHook has always felt like a bit of a misfit in the heavy music space. A lot of people don’t quite ‘get’ us. But we didn’t make this record for those people. We made it for the ones like us. The misfits, the outliers, the weirdos. We can’t wait for you to hear it.”
