New York – Oscar and Grammy winner Prince will be among the presenters Sunday at the 77th Academy Awards, to air live on ABC from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.
It will be his first time as a presenter on the telecast, Oscar ceremony producer Gil Cates said Wednesday.
Prince won an Oscar for original song score in 1985 for “Purple Rain.”
Earlier this month, he won two Grammy Awards.
Presenters also will include Sean Penn, John Travolta, Gwyneth Paltrow, Natalie Portman and Tim Robbins.
