Petey USA just dropped his first new release of 2026 with the arrival of his stunning single, “Kiss The City.” The track follows up his 2025 album The Yips, produced by Chris Walla, formerly of Death Cab For Cutie. Intertwining raw, relatable lyrics about city life with bright indie rock vibes and electronic melodies, Petey USA is crafting something truly fresh and exciting.
“This song is about the exhaustion of the city grind and a fantasy of dropping everything to live off the land, free from money and obligation,” the artist says of the song. “But freedom without people just turns into loneliness. In the end, you come running back, not because the city got any better, but because you need community more than you need to escape.”
