On Father’s Day in Portland this year, Kevin Lyman, the founder of Warped Tour, decided that all dads would get into Warped Tour for free that day. It gave each dad a complimentary ticket into the festival if they are accompanying someone that already has a ticket. It was a huge hit, so Lyman decided that he would keep the trend going for the rest of the tour, and extend the offer to both parents. Warped Tour has also expanded the services of the Reverse Daycare tent. For those not familiar, Reverse Daycare is exactly what it sounds like – a place where kids can drop their parents off for a day of relaxation, air conditioning, and cold drinks while their kids enjoy their day at Warped.
